Corporate Development

March 1922:	Started up business as YASAKU KAWAI Textile Manufacture with the production and sales of silk textile as its core business.
March 1943:	Changed the company name to KAKUBU Brothers Partnership Firm and was devoted to the production and sales of silk and rayon fabrics.
May 1963:	Started up business as EIHEIJI Sizing Company Limited and performed preparation and production of warp threads with a central focus on synthetic fiber. Next, with the transition of textile industry in our country, the company shifted production to the double-sided integrated weaving system of Umbra and Chop oriented with polyester as its core business and keeps growing as one of the greatest textile production industries in Fukui Prefecture with the latest sizing equipment and weaving equipment of WJL and double twister.
April 1979:	The company launched integrated production system from fiber spinning, weaving, finishing, sewing and sales with weaving machine deployment.
October 2001:	Dismantled mass productivity for exportation and contributing energy to domestic demand-led materials.
May 2002:	Installed a weaving machine for producing multilayer structured fabric cushion material.
December 2007:	Full-scale cushion material business steadily rising revenue and completed the production system of both monofilament and multifilament. Enhanced sales with the integrated mass-producing system from raw materials to final products.
